Judges

Judging Process
The Miss Chinatown Atlanta competition judging system is designed to promote diversity, individuality and overall achievement among all contestants. Judges score the individual contestants immediately following each phase of the competition. Contestants are scored on a 1-to-10 point scale, in whole numbers, within each category (more than one contestant may receive the same score). All judges will represent a variety of professional sectors. There are 2 sections in the competition.

First section:
Presentation and Interview - 20% (Off Stage)
Artistic _Expression (Talent) - 30%
Presence and Poise (Evening Wear) -20%
Lifestyle and Fitness (Swimsuit) -20%
Overall 10% ( including 5% audience vote)

The judges will rate your in a scale from 1-10 in each category. Then we convert that score by percentage. We then use a computer program to add all the scores up. The top 8 girls will move on to the next section. The first section's score will carry to the next section and account for 70% of the total score.

Second section:
Each contestant will answer a different question. This final question will account for 30% of your total score. Base on the score, we will pick the queen, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up. If we have a tie, the judges will vote again.
