Ashley Dong was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the
daughter of Shengjie Dong and Dan Jin. This year, she turned sixteen and
entered the 11th grade at Chattahoochee High School. She's lived a very
musical life, loving to sing since she was very young. She's actually
studied it with a teacher for the last three years and has been accepted
into her school's top chorus as well as its after hours chorus that
especially performs. She's studied piano now for nearly 12 years and has won
awards every year since the 5th grade when she started participating in
competitions. She also studied various percussional instruments for a couple
of years, along with the Chinese flute and a few different types of dance.

Ashley is an honor student, but she enjoys spending her spare time with her
family and friends. She aspires to be accepted into a prestigious university
and become a teacher.
